New Diapers!

I got my new cloth diapers the other day and absolutely love them! The new colors are amazing, Royal blue, green, black and brown. They have amazing pinks and purples and red for girls too. I have been using this brand of diaper (www.smartipants.com) since Ronin was 6 weeks old and I wouldn't use anything else.

The picture above is the largest setting, but as you can see there are tons of snaps to size them down. They are so easy to use and wash and repeat!

Did you know that using cloth diapers can save on average $3,000 on average per kid. Not to mention the environmental benefits. Just think about it!

I love talking about cloth diapers and answering questions so feel free to ask!

Last Nights Dinner

Last nights dinner was ribs, squash, and broiled spinach and artichoke dip over artisan bread.
While the ribs were yummy, they were store bought (I know blasphemy). But the real stars of this plate are the sauteed squash and the bread.
The squash was cut into coins and lightly browned in olive oil, add a little salt to finish and they were so tasty!
The bread I dreamed up with a little help from Tastefully Simple. I made the spinach and artichoke dip as directed then put a spoonful on fresh artisan bread (still warm from the bakery!). Topped with a little fresh grated parmeasan and broiled just until the cheese was bubbely and brown. So yummy!

And I'm back!

Wow! It's been a long time. The last time I visited this blog was before I was pregnant with my now 16 month-old son! So time for a fresh start!

I intend this blog to be a reflection of my family's happy little life! We live a simple, down to earth life that is full of fun, food, and loads of funny!
